In Switzerland, Easter Monday (French: le lundi de Pâques, Italian: Lunedì di Pasqua) corresponds to Sunday in most cantons. Even though the law may not always officially recognize the holiday as a holiday, the day is considered a day off from work almost everywhere. The only exceptions are in the canton of Valais, as well as parts of the cantons of Aargau and Solothurn.
